Sales Leadership in the Era of Economic Uncertainty
According to Ram Charan, in his best selling book, LEADERSHIP IN THE ERA OF ECONOMIC UNCERTAINTY, "A key part of your comprehensive plan is the determination of which customers to keep. Even in a downturn, not every customer is worth having."
Award winning author Jeff Koser says, "Boards and CEOs must gain "first hand" knowledge of their best customers and top sales prospects. Your existing customers and top sales prospects are hurting. They will be looking to eliminate, reduce or consolidate spend. If you rely on your VP(s) of sales for this information you are not properly managing during these record breaking financial times."

Housewraps Market in United States to Reach $590.3 Million by 2015, According to New Report by Global Industry Analysts
Housewraps, a part of the building products industry, has long played a pivotal role in revolutionizing architectural dynamics of residential and non-residential constructions. Market for housewraps is highly variable and dependent on factors, such as economic conditions, growth in GDP, consumer purchasing power, and the overall health of the domestic housing and construction industry. The housewraps will very likely bear the brunt of the ongoing economic/financial crunch, which is resulting in reduced household wealth, lower consumer purchasing power, declining new housing starts, steep deceleration in housing demand and rising inventory of unsold new, and existing homes. Currently, housewraps market stands threatened by the ailing housing and construction industry and the recent emergence of new weatherization systems, which are pitted against housewraps in terms of both performance and cost effectiveness. Future growth in housewraps market will be based on revival of economy, growth in the residential building sector, investments in new construction projects, product innovations, local building codes and mounting interest in green building products and building science.

"One positive element has come from our nation's recent economic worries: The recession has turned around Americans' savings habits," said Ewing, who oversees free online consumer portal Bills.com. "For several years, Americans saved 1 percent or less of their income (and in some years, the savings rate was negative). Today, the personal savings rate is well over 3 percent. "

InventHelp® Clients Invent Basketball Practice Tool to Improve Shooting
InventHelp®, America's leading inventor service company, announces that two of its clients, inventors from Fennville, Mich., have developed a new practice device that would encourage basketball players to shoot with more arc. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.
While most conventional basketball practice aids are designed to improve shooting, very few of them help players to shoot with greater arc. The "Shot Dr." would be used to do both. Following the proven principle that increased arc leads to greater accuracy, this device would compel players to put more arc on their shots. Ideal for use in shooting drills, the Shot Dr. may be used by players of all ages and skill levels.
Designed by a pair of high school basketball coaches and put to functional use in practice, the Shot Dr. would consist of a circular steel or plastic piece that measures 3 inches high, ¼ inch thick and 17 inches in diameter. Extending downward from the bottom of the unit would be a series of brackets that would allow the device to be attached to the top of a standard basketball hoop rim. Because the unit would feature a smaller diameter than the rim, players would be forced to shoot a basketball with a greater amount of arc in order to get it to go in.
InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 03-DET-1916 at (800) 851-6030. Learn more about InventHelp® and their Invention Submission services at http://www.inventhelp.com.

Air Purifiers Direct 2U's Air Purifier Sales Rise 37% Since Addition of Airfree Air Sterilizers in 4th Quarter of 2007
Business has been great for Air Purifiers Direct 2U since they added Airfree products to their powerful air purifier line-up last fall. "I can't keep them on the shelf!" quips Unyi. "Airfree has a great product and our increase in overall sales is largely due to the addition of Airfree air purifiers to our website. We want our customers to know the benefits of both types of air purifier products we sell."
Airfree claims that its Airfree Air Purifiers are, "The Most Tested Air Purifiers in The World." Some of their competitors may argue that statement, but Airfree provides all the test results for their customers to see. "Airfree does not hide behind some generalized statements like some other air purifier companies do. They put their test results right out there on their internet website for anyone to see and that lets customers make a more informative decision when buying their products," states Unyi. "Sometimes companies make statements about their products on the internet or in their advertising and expect consumers to take it as gospel. It's nice when a company actually puts its money where its mouth is and shows us what's behind the curtain," Unyi adds.
