But there is a way to increase the odds of successfully navigating these unpredictable job currents.

Outsourcing is the new "big bad wolf" among the employed. It is the contracting out of non-core business operations, usually leading to layoffs, as businesses close entire departments in order to save money and increase efficiency. But according to DirectoryofSchools.com, it does not have to play out that way. For workers who are willing to broaden and increase their skills, outsourcing could lead to increased opportunities within these transforming companies.

Inovium Introduces a Revolutionary, True 'Anytime, Anywhere' Mobile Payment System

Inovium today introduced Inovium MobilePay™, a true anytime, anywhere mobile payments system allowing businesses to accept payments from any network-enabled mobile device.

What distinguishes Inovium's system from other mobile payment systems on the market is that the Payer need not belong to a member-specific network or payment account - any business can make a payment using our mobile interface in one of two options. Because MobilePay is an integrated feature to Inovium's full Electronic Invoicing Presentment and Payment (EIPP) program InoviumPay™, the operator can simply select the Payer from the database, enter the amount of the invoice, and submit the payment for processing. Both Invoicer and Payer receive an immediate email confirmation. Another option for the operator when a Payer data file is not present is to simply enter the payment information in full - either e-check or credit card - on the MobilePay interface and complete the transaction.

Recycling Export Reform Group Unveils New e-certification Process

Out with the old, in with the new. January is the month for the sweeping out of used home electronics. Computers are replaced at Christmas, and new TVs are purchased for Superbowl Sunday. People across the country wonder, what to do with the old electronics?

A new electronic certification program sponsored by a non-profit trade association, located at www.wr3a.org, will make that task a little easier.

The program is being written by a non-profit export reform group, active in electronics recycling issues. According to several officials in government and overseas, it is easy to use and makes enormous sense. The program is based on the transaction, not the user or the destination. WR3A president Robin Ingenthron explains, "USDA certifies beef, not the butcher. What may be appropriate to one buyer may be waste to another. WR3A is trying to focus on which materials are easy to donate, and which require the expertise of an insured company with capacity to process lead and other chemicals."

The pre-cancerous cells killed by the procedure slough harmlessly off the esophageal walls and the body replaces them with healthy tissue.

Drinking Water Week Reminds Us of 'Real and Lasting Value' of Water Systems

As Drinking Water Week continues, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) joins water professionals across North America in highlighting the importance of investing in our water infrastructure.

As individuals and communities, today we demand a solid "return on investment" for each dollar we spend. That's exactly what's earned by investing in U.S. water systems. In fact, a 2008 study by the U.S. Conference of Mayors showed that for every dollar invested in public water and sewer infrastructure and services, approximately $8.97 is added to the national economy.
